FAQs they can answer

The CNET Community is one of those nice sites where you can get answers to problems and, in particular, read other people's questions and see what sort of replies they got. Yes, there are a few very geeky ones and a few more that even my daughter (she's the non-techy one) can answer but you can ignore all those if you like.

How do you do?

This may not work but it's worth a try. I've created a StudyZone page where you can post your own questions, preferably about things to do with ICT.

You may not get any answers but, there again, you may. Who knows. You won't know until you try.

Frequently asked questions I can answer. I used to have piles of notes about all sorts of ICT things that I needed for classes but nowadays there doesn't seem to be much of that sort of training so most of the time I'm answering individual questions about how to do this or that. Often I'll reply in an e-mail or scribble something down or just go and show people on the job and it occurred to me that all that one-off effort could be put to better use if I could at least make a list of the ones I remembered, and so here we go.
